Job Vacancies

Dear Sir or Madam,

  • Do you want to make a difference?
  • Are you thinking of a new career?
  • Do you have the skills that we are looking for?

Maplefields Academy is searching for people that want to help and support our pupils in gaining the best possible education that they can. We are a high-performing, SEMH (social, emotional & mental health) special school which was judged as Outstanding in every area by Ofsted in November 2016. We are not remotely complacent about this and are committed to ensuring that the quality of provision we offer to our students is consistently excellent. We believe that such sustained success is a team effort and every member of staff contributes to that level of excellence.

We are a relatively small school, but we still have a distinctly ‘family’ atmosphere. Visitors to the School often comment on the friendly and supportive ethos.

We are looking for a variety of roles within the school from teaching assistants to leaders. Examples are Specialist Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, Teachers or working towards a PGCE qualification to become a qualified teacher. If you think any of these roles are just what you are looking for and you could contribute to our pupils’ learning and achievements, do complete an application form (available further below), telling us more about yourself; any experience, qualifications gained, and we will contact you to discuss further.

Maplefields Academy is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our students and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required for all successful applicants.

Yours sincerely

Miss J. Walker – Head Teacher
